MILAGRO CENTER RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS LOIS POPE LEADERSHIP GRANT FROM THE EXECUTIVE WOMEN OF THE PALM BEACHES FOR ITS L.E.A.P HEALTHY MINDS INITIATIVE

DELRAY BEACH, FL – Milagro Center is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Lois Pope Leadership Grant from the Executive Women of the Palm Beaches for its L.E.A.P. (Ladies Empowerment and Achievement Program) Healthy Minds Initiative, which promotes leadership development and mental wellness for underserved middle and high school girls enrolled in Milagro’s afterschool and summer programs.

The distinguished award was announced at the organization’s Fall Foundation Luncheon held on Thursday, October 23rd.

The Lois Pope Leadership Grant is presented annually to a nonprofit organization that provides leadership training programs for middle and high school students. Eligible programs must offer instruction in leadership styles, effective decision-making, problem-solving, and relationship-building, while also fostering personal growth in self-confidence, communication, and awareness of individual leadership strengths.

Milagro Center’s L.E.A.P. Healthy Minds Initiative was selected for exemplifying these values –

empowering young women to cultivate resilience, emotional intelligence, and leadership skills that prepare them for success both in school and beyond.
