There was a point when I felt completely overwhelmed. I was struggling with my mental health, dealing with a lot at home, and school no longer felt important. I was falling into depression and beginning to give up on everything, including myself. I started going to Milagro just to escape, and it became my way of distracting myself from everything I couldn’t control. But instead of letting me disconnect, Milagro helped me refocus. They encouraged me to care about school again, to raise my grades, and to think seriously about my future. Being surrounded by people who believed in me, even when I didn’t, made all the difference. Milagro helped me find motivation again when I thought I had lost it all.
